tea and cup with Dana - Sunday, Sept 20, 2-4p
Join us for a cozy, hands-on afternoon exploring the connection between clay, plants, and everyday ritual. We’ll begin by learning a little about the traditional and medicinal uses of herbs before creating our own custom tea blends to take home.
We’ll also spend time working with clay and creating our own handmade piece inspired by the natural world. No previous experience with clay or herbalism is needed — just come ready to play, learn, and make something with your hands.
Details:
Length: 2 hours
Includes: Custom tea blend to take home and a handbuilt teacup fired in the glaze color of your choice
Pickup: Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 4 weeks
Who can join: Open to all ages
About the Instructor: I’m Dana, a photographer, ceramic artist, musician, gardener, and generally a curious creative who loves finding ways to bring art and nature into everyday life. My creative work often revolves around ritual, storytelling, and the natural world, and I’ve been especially drawn to working with clay and growing medicinal herbs in my own garden. I love creating spaces where people can slow down, learn something new, and connect with each other — which is exactly what I hope this workshop will feel like.
I’m so excited to share this little afternoon of plants and creativity with you!
