Curious about wheel throwing but not ready to dive into a full course? Our one-time spin the wheel class is the perfect way to get your hands dirty and experience the magic of making pottery on the wheel!
In this fun and beginner-friendly 2-hour session, you'll learn the basics of throwing—how to center clay, shape simple forms, and get a feel for the spinning wheel. With step-by-step guidance from an experienced instructor, you’ll create two pieces (like a cup or bowl) that we’ll trim, glaze, and fire for you. No experience needed, and all materials are included. Want to keep creating? You're welcome to make additional pieces for $20 each.
Who can join:
Ages 10+ only. (Our pottery wheels are industrial-grade, and even adults find centering clay challenging.) Anyone under 17 years old must beaccompanied by an adult.
