Learn to build glass the way it’s been done for a thousand years, alongside local stained glass artist Kristin Culotta of Culotta Creations. Long before the copper foil method was developed, artisans used lead came to assemble windows for churches, homes, and public buildings.

Students will learn the fundamentals of this historic craft by creating a medium sized geometric panel. After cutting and preparing their glass, students will focus on what makes leaded work unique: fitting glass into lead came, soldering joints, and learning how a traditional stained glass window comes together.

No experience necessary. All tools and materials are provided. Please wear pants and closed-toe shoes.
