Light up your holidays with the warm glow of a handmade ceramic luminary. In this 2 hour workshop, you’ll handbuild a cone-shaped form from clay slabs, then carve festive cutouts and patterns that will cast beautiful light when lit from within. Once finished and fired, your luminary will be the perfect accent for your holiday table, mantle, or windowsill.

What to expect

  • Learn slab-building techniques to create a cone-shaped luminary form

  • Carve out designs - snowflakes, stars, trees, or patterns of your choice

  • Once glazed and fired, your luminary will be ready to hold a candle or LED light for a warm holiday glow

All sales are final and non-refundable.

Pottery can be unpredictable! While we take great care with every piece, we can’t guarantee how your work will turn out after firing. By joining the class, you agree not to hold the studio or its team responsible for any damage or defects.

Pick-Up Policy

Your finished piece will be ready in about 3–4 weeks. We’ll send you an email when it’s good to go! Please pick up within 3 months of your class—after that, unclaimed pieces will be donated to make space for new creations. If you don’t hear from us, feel free to give us a call.
