Take your skills beyond dipping and discover how to use underglazes, Stroke & Coat, and our studio bucket glazes in more intentional and painterly ways.
This hands-on workshop focuses on color layering, brushwork, glazing techniques, and creative approaches to surface design. Lauren will demonstrate a variety of techniques and discuss when and how to use different decorating materials to achieve the results you're after.
This workshop is focused on skill building and experimentation rather than creating a finished piece from start to finish.
Bring Your Own Bisque
Participants are welcome to bring up to 3 pieces of cone 6 bisque under 6” to decorate during class.
Don't have bisque? No problem! Non-members may:
Purchase a piece from our Paint Your Own Pottery collection at a discounted rate
Practice on studio-provided Empty Bowls bisque at no charge (practice pieces may not be kept)
