In this beginner-friendly workshop, local artist Antoinette Lopes will guide you through the foundations of charcoal drawing as you bring your own fox to life on the page. No experience needed.

Ages 14 and up welcome. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who remains in the studio.

What to Expect:

  • 2.5 hours of guided charcoal drawing

  • Step-by-step instruction on seeing and sketching simple shapes

  • Techniques for blending, shading, and creating depth

  • A finished fox drawing to take home

  • All materials provided

Antoinette Lopes is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Pacific Northwest, known for her expressive charcoal drawings and mixed media paintings. She exhibits her work both in local Portland and Vancouver galleries.
