Create, sculpt, and experiment with clay in this mixed level multi-week ceramics course. Over four weeks, students will learn foundational handbuilding techniques while creating a collection of functional and sculptural ceramic projects.

Each class is split into two parts:
Hour 1: A guided mini project designed to introduce techniques
Hour 2: A larger multi-week project with time for creativity, personalization, and skill-building

Perfect for beginners and experienced students alike, this course focuses on building confidence with clay in a relaxed and supportive studio environment. 

Course Projects

Week 1 — Mini Bud Vases + Prepare Slab Houses

Week 2 — Small Garden Friend Sculptures + House Assembly

Week 3 — Carved Pencil or Brush Holder + Open Studio Time

Week 4 — Glazing Day

Week 5 — Optional review and show & tell!

You’re welcome to bring your own project ideas or choose from our seasonal project prompts for inspiration. 

What makes us different:
We recognize that art takes time. This course includes full access to all open studio hours throughout the duration of the course so you can practice and experiment. If you have unfinished pieces after the end of the course, we encourage you to take advantage of our day passes or memberships.

monday - tuesday: closed
wednesday - friday: 2-8pm

sunday: 11am - 6pm

Who can sign up:
This class is designed for beginners ages 18+, but we welcome teens signed up with an accompanying adult.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

All sales are final and non-refundable.
Need to reschedule? Let us know at least 7 days in advance and we’ll happily move you to another date for something of equal or less in value, free of charge. This policy helps us plan ahead and support our staff and fellow students—thank you for understanding!

Disclaimer

Pottery can be unpredictable! While we take great care with every piece, we can’t guarantee how your work will turn out after firing. By joining the class, you agree not to hold the studio or its team responsible for any damage or defects.

Pick-Up Policy

Your finished piece will be ready in about 3–4 weeks. We’ll send you an email when it’s good to go! Please pick up within 3 months of your class—after that, unclaimed pieces will be donated to make space for new creations. If you don’t hear from us, feel free to give us a call.

Age limitation

Teens ages 12–17 may also join, but must be accompanied by an adult who’s also enrolled in the same class at all times.
