In this three-hour handbuilding workshop, you’ll create your very own ceramic lamp from start to finish. We’ll guide you through pinching, coiling, and/or carving as you build a functional, sculptural piece that reflects your personal style.

We’ll provide the clay, tools, and lamp hardware, and we’ll walk you through the full assembly process during class. Lampshades and lightbulb are not included, so feel free to find one that fits your décor once your piece is complete.

After class, we’ll glaze and fire your lamp. In 4 weeks, it will be ready for pickup and you’ll complete the final assembly. 

Come dressed for a little mess. We’ll supply aprons and everything else you need.

Who can join
Open to adults and teens ages 14+. Anyone ages 14–17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

All sales are final and non-refundable.
Need to reschedule? Let us know at least 7 days in advance and we’ll happily move you to another date for something of equal or less in value, free of charge. This policy helps us plan ahead and support our staff and fellow students—thank you for understanding!

Disclaimer

Pottery can be unpredictable! While we take great care with every piece, we can’t guarantee how your work will turn out after firing. By joining the class, you agree not to hold the studio or its team responsible for any damage or defects. 

If your child is under the recommended age limit and is unable to complete their project, please understand that our instructors cannot provide one-on-one attention, as we need to support the entire group of paying participants. If you or your child are being disruptive, you will be asked to leave without a refund. 

Pick-Up Policy

Your finished piece will be ready in about 3–4 weeks. We’ll send you an email when it’s good to go! Please pick up within 3 months of your class—after that, unclaimed pieces will be donated to make space for new creations. If you don’t hear from us, feel free to give us a call.
