Add a touch of cozy magic to your holidays by building your very own ceramic gnome home! In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll design and build your very own ceramic gnome home—a charming little dwelling that’s part sculpture, part storytelling. With guidance from your instructor, Karen Wise, you’ll learn essential pottery skills to construct sturdy walls, roofs, and details that bring your tiny home to life.

What to expect

  • Learn slab-building, pinch pot, and joining techniques

  • Use stamps and tools to add textures like bark, shingles, and stone

  • Your piece will be bisque fired and ready to finish ~2 weeks later by either:

    • Returning for a glazing session during open studio hours ($30)

      • Pick up ready in another ~2 weeks for glaze firing

    • Or taking it home to paint with your own acrylics for a DIY holiday craft

Cancellation & Rescheduling

All sales are final and non-refundable.
Need to reschedule? Let us know at least 7 days in advance and we’ll happily move you to another date for something of equal or less in value, free of charge. This policy helps us plan ahead and support our staff and fellow students—thank you for understanding!

Pottery can be unpredictable! While we take great care with every piece, we can’t guarantee how your work will turn out after firing. By joining the class, you agree not to hold the studio or its team responsible for any damage or defects.

Pick-Up Policy

Your finished piece will be ready in about 3–4 weeks. We’ll send you an email when it’s good to go! Please pick up within 3 months of your class—after that, unclaimed pieces will be donated to make space for new creations. If you don’t hear from us, feel free to give us a call.
