Sunday, November 23, 6-8pm
Join us for a fun and hands on evening dedicated to the humble but mighty handle. Over two hours, we will explore different handle making techniques including pulling, slab building, and coiling, and talk about what makes a handle comfortable, strong, and beautiful.
To wrap it all up, we will attach everyone’s creations onto one large communal vase, a collaborative piece that celebrates our studio community and the many hands that shape it.
Since this gathering takes place around Thanksgiving, we are turning it into a little studio potluck. Bring whatever you would like to share, whether it is a snack, treat, or favorite drink, and let’s make it an evening of clay, conversation, and gratitude. Also feel free to invite a plus one (or two)!
