Ready to take your pottery skills up a notch?
In this six week course, we’ll dive deeper into form, texture, and technique, pushing past the basics to make pieces that feel truly your own. Expect a mix of guided projects and creative play in a relaxed, supportive space that celebrates exploration.

You’ll learn:

  • Surface techniques like slip trailing, carving, and Kurinuki

  • Bottle neck vases

  • Collared and closed forms, lidded vessels

  • Plates (harder than they look!)

  • Throwing off the hump

  • Making donuts, because why not?

By the end, you’ll head home with a collection of expressive pieces and the confidence to keep experimenting on your own. Your first bag of clay, shared tools, and studio glazes are included - just bring your curiosity and maybe a sense of humor.

What sets us apart:
You’ll have unlimited open studio time for the full six weeks, giving you plenty of space to practice, play, and perfect your craft.

Schedule:
Classes meet once a week for 6 weeks on Sundays from 12-2pm, starting January 4. Please allocate an additional 30 minutes at the end of class for clean up.
Open studio hours:
Wednesday-Sunday: 11am-6pm

Who can sign up:
This course is for Level 1 grads or potters who can consistently center 1-2 pounds of clay and throw basic forms. Ages 18 and up, though teens are welcome with an accompanying adult.
